The motto of NCC is “Unity and Discipline” In living up to its motto, the NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of our nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of our country and moulding them in to united, secular and disciplined citizens of our nation. One can dedicate himself to the honour and glory of our motherland. As a defender of the sovereign land… become a part of the noblest and the most selfless of services – the National Cadet Corps (NCC). All cadets have to join the Corps for two consecutive years in order to eligible for ‘A’ Certificate. The cadets are given training twice a week and they also attend various camps and parades conducted by the NCC Unit. After the successful completion of two years the cadet is allowed to take ‘A’ certificate examination.
school students scouting/guiding is an educational movement designed to prepare the students to cope with the rapidly changing society in achieving their physical, intellectual, spiritual and social potentialities as individuals and as responsible citizen. It creates a bonding of worldwide brotherhood and sisterhood among the students. The motto of scouting/ guiding is – “BE PREPARED”. “This is to be achieved by being physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight”
The National Cadet Corps (Indian military cadet corps) is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The motto of NCC is to instill Unity and Discipline (Ekta aurAnushasan) in the youth. The cadets are taught the DG's four cardinal principles of discipline- to obey with a smile, be punctual, work hard and without fuss, and make no excuses and tell no lies.
The guard of honour, unfurling of the National Flag, marches on Independence Day and Republic Day and escorting chief guests for various functions are all done by our young cadets. Participation in several NCC activities inside and outside the school has fostered the cadets develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service.
